Property Tax Collection

All payments of current year taxes are payable to the Town of Ogema TreasurerSharon Jorgensen N1811 Co Rd G, Ogema, WI  54459 through July 31.

  • 1st payment: 25% due by January 31, pay half, or pay in full
  • 2nd Payment: 25% due by April 30 or pay the second half
  • 3rd Payment: 50% due by July 31

All real estate taxes under $100, personal property taxes and special charges are due January 31 to the Town of Ogema.

Alternative Options

1. Pay taxes in full by January 31.
2. Pay 50% of taxes by January 31 and 50% by July 31 
   When using this option, add the first two installments as printed on the tax bill stubs.

Missed or Late Payment

If any one of the installment payments is missed or not paid by due date, the entire unpaid balance of taxes becomes delinquent and subject to 1.5% per month interest/penalty and option to pay in installments is lostPursuant to Wisconsin Statute Section 74.47, interest and penalty of 1.5% per month on the whole unpaid balance and will be charged from February 1 regardless of when the tax due becomes delinquent. No matter what installment is missed, the total unpaid balance becomes due and payable and is subject to interest and penalty from February 1 option to pay in installments is lost.

Taxes payments after August 1 are considered delinquent and payable to Price County Treasurer along with interest and penalty.  Payments after August 1 can be made with credit/debit card or E-check by using this payment portal. There is a 2.35% fee charged for credit/debit card payments and $1.50 for E-checks that the taxpayer is responsible.

Pet Fees
Dog licenses are issued by the town treasurer and are due by April 1st of each year. The owner must provide rabies vaccination to receive license.
