Help raise money for a local non-profit organization with this fun group ride through the scenic Northwoods RAIN or SHINE. Participate in a poker run, 50/50 raffle, and ticket drawings at each stop for various prizes. The final stop includes drawings for other registration prizes as well as great music. All makes of motorcycles and types of vehicles are welcome - car, truck, or whatever you like. All adults are welcome. Come join the ride, make new friends and enjoy the beautiful Northwood’s route. Quest cards/Food Stamps can be used for food purchases at the market for both foods and vegetable plants & seeds and “Market Dollars” are accepted by all vendors. They are available for purchase at the market and are a great idea for gift giving or incentives. WIC coupons and senior market coupons are also accepted by most of our vendors. Come out and enjoy our scenic Price County roads and stay for the 34th Annual Czech-Slovak Community Festival with live music, singing, dancing, great food, arts/crafts, beer garden, exhibits, demos, and Kolackies! Three (3) different route lengths and multiple rest stops, including a stop at a working farm on the 10-mile route. This is a great event for the entire family. For the more adventurous cyclist, try the 25- or 50-mile route. After the ride, enjoy the Phillips Community Pool including showers and a hot tub. Each rider is entered into a drawing for a chance to win a new Trek Bike.

Activities commemorating traditional Scandinavian summer celebrations of the longer summer days including exhibits, homemade Finnish bread sale, silent auction, music, bonfire and maypole (in Sweden, branches with leaves are made into roping and twined around a pole, then it is raised for dancing around. Serving of traditional Scandinavian foods (begins at 2pm) including Swedish meatballs, new potatoes, veggies, herring, cheese and fruit for dessert. Live music 1-4pm by a local band. Tour seven (7) historic buildings (some over 100 years old) which are part of the museum and house displays that depict the history and culture of this area including school, logging, agriculture, and Co-op displays; plus a gift shop. Always held the 4th Saturday in June. Sponsored by the Knox Creek Heritage Center, a not for profit organization dedicated to preserving the heritage of the pioneers that settled in the Northwoods, which gladly welcomes members, and any donations are always appreciate.

Participate in this golf event for a chance to win some great prizes if you get a hole-in-one on any of the par 3 holes. This tournament is a two-person scramble with a shotgun start and has both scratch and handicap with 1st ($125), 2nd ($100) and 3rd ($75) place prizes for each division using peoria scoring. The entry fee also includes a lunch buffet at the golf course along with awards, raffle drawings, many door prizes, and a silent auction. Proceeds go to a college scholarship fund.
