Lynn Neeck was elected Price County Treasurer in 1988.

 

 The County Treasurer is responsible for:

• Collection and distribution of current and delinquent real estate taxes

• Receipting and depositing all county monies received by taxpayers, departments and governmental agencies

• Investing county funds

• Maintain tax billing and collection history records for public inspection per open records law.

• Postmark accepted as proof of timely payment. Bring your envelope to the post office and have it hand stamped for Jan 31st, April 30th & July 31

• If you own multiple properties, provide Tax ID #  for each property.

• Failure to receive tax bill does not relieve the obligation to pay real estate taxes.

• If ANY one installment is not paid timely the entire unpaid balance is delinquent and subject to interest and penalty charges of 1.5% per month from February1.(Ex. August interest/penalty is 10.5%) Contact this office for the pay-off amount or click Public Access - Taxes  click on Statements tab.

• Monthly payments of $100 or more per month for unpaid taxes are accepted and applied to oldest year due.

• To receive a paid receipt, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with payment.

• Towns of Catawba, Emery, Harmony, Ogema & Lake,Village of Prentice and City of Phillips collect taxes in 3 installments. Payments for these towns go to local treasurer thru July 31
