Income Maintenance - BadgerCare and Food Share Changes

For all BadgerCare and Food Share clients:

As a result of the State of Wisconsin 2011-2013 Biennial Budget, accessing Income Maintenance programs (BADGERCARE and FOOD SHARE) have changed. Effective January 1, 2012, Price County Department of Health & Human Services Economic Support staff will be working with a group of counties called the Northern Income Maintenance Consortium. This means that eligibility and benefit determination will be managed by a team of Income Maintenance workers.
