Transportation

Volunteers provide rides to medical appointments.  Door-to-door errand services are available to assist the elderly with local shopping.

Medical Transportation

Purpose:  To provide non-emergency medical transportation to the elderly through a door-to-door service.

Eligibility:  Persons 55 and older, as well as those who are physically handicapped or disabled. Medical Assistance Transportation is available.

Cost:
Medical Assistance = No Cost
Self-Pay (Local) = $3.00
Self-Pay (Within 125-mile radius) = 25 cents per mile

Reservations should be made 2 days in advance.


Elderly Shopping Service

Purpose:  To provide local shopping services on a door-to-door basis.

Hours of Operation:  9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon)
