Meeting Minutes/Public Hearing

February 12, 2008

Palecek called meeting to order at 4:00 P.M.

Members present;  Fojtik, Rasmussen, Schneider, Palecek, Houdek

Minutes of January 8, 2008 meeting approved as presented by motion; Fojtik/Rasmussen, carried

Palecek open forum for Public Hearing on proposed Airport project and use of entitlement funds to replace aging fuel system.  No one from public was in attendance.

March 11, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. was set for next Airport meeting.

Vouchers were reviewed and sign and Revenue & Expenditure reports were approved by motion;

Houdek/Schneider, carried

Hallstrand explained that Airport Project and Public Hearing was advertised for 2 weeks.  Airport

would be responsible for 2 ½ % of total cost of fuel system replacement and that entitlement dollars

would be used for remaining cost.  No one from public was in attendance. Palecek closed public

hearing at 4:25 P.M.  Motion by Rasmussen/Schneider to approve resolution to use entitlement dollars for project and forward resolution to full County Board for approval. Carried with no objection.

Hallstrand updated Committee on environmental assessment and stated that possibly March he would

hold public hearing.  Business has again been slow due to weather.  Motion to approve Manager’s report; Rasmussen/Schneider, carried
