AIRPORT COMMITTEE

MEETING MINUTES

Date: April 14, 2009

Time: 9:00 a.m.

Place: Airport Terminal 

Meeting called to order by Chair Joe Rasmussen at 9:00 a.m.

Roll Call: Jim Robb, Richard Schneider, John Vlach, John Walasek, Joseph Rasmussen.  Also present representatives from Becher-Hoppe.

Presentation from Becher-Hoppe – update on Airport expansion project.

1.       Termination of NDB (Non-directional Beacon): Motion Walasek/Schneider to terminate the NDB at Price County Airport.  Motion carried.

2.       BOA (Bureau of Aeronautics) Compliance Inspection, Item 2, Public Trail:  Motion Robb/Walasek to close the Log Jam Ski Trail to public use and authorize the airport manager to post area with no trespassing signs.  Motion carried.

3.       CEP – Youth Employment Program:  Motion Robb/Vlach to pursue the CEP Youth Employment Program.  Motion carried.

4.       Summer Hire:  Motion Schneider/Robb to approve one individual for summer hire pending approval by County Board.  Motion carried.

5.       Vouchers; Revenue & Expenditures:  Motion Robb/Vlach to approve vouchers as presented.  Motion carried.

6.       Approve March 10, 2009 meeting minutes:  Motion Robb/Schneider to approve the minutes of the March 10, 2009 meeting as presented.  Motion carried.

7.       Set date and time for next meeting:  May 12, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Airport Terminal.

8.       Manager’s Report:  Chris will be attending the Wisconsin Aviation Conference in Green Bay on May 4-6.

9.       Adjourn:  Motion by Schneider/Vlach to adjourn the meeting at 10:35 a.m. Motion carried.
