Meeting Minutes

July 15, 2008

Rasmussen called meeting to order at 9:00 A.M.

Members present; Vlach, Schneider, Walasek, Robb, Rasmussen

Staff present; Hallstrand

Several members of the public were also in attendance and voiced comments on airport expansion project

Minutes of June 3, 2008 meeting were approved as presented by motion; Robb, Vlach, carried

Change to Airport fence gate by gravel pit to boost security was discussed.  Motion to approve change;

Robb, Walasek, carried

No budget direction has been given by Finance Committee yet.  Some concern will be fuel cost increase.

Date and time of August 12, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. set for next meeting

Vouchers were signed and Revenue and Expenditure reports were approved by motion; Schneider/Vlach, carried, no objection

Hallstrand reported that there will be a public hearing toward end of September beginning of October regarding expansion project.  Another public hearing for height zoning will be scheduled shortly and Hallstrand will be present.  He will try to notify as many neighbors of Airport property as possible. 

Fly-In went very well. 

Motion to accept manager’s report; Robb/Schneider, carried

The presentation at Phillips Plastics hanger was cancelled.

Motion to adjourn at 10:00 A.M.; Vlach/ Robb, carried
