AIRPORT COMMITTEE

MEETING MINUTES

Date: August 10, 2010

Time: 8:00 a.m.

Place: Airport Terminal; N1205 Airport Rd, Phillips, WI 

Meeting called to order by Chair Larry Palecek at 8:00 a.m.

Roll Call: Jay Janssen (arrived 8:06 am), Ron Kardas, Larry Palecek, Jim Robb.  Excused: Joe Rasmussen.  Also present: Jordan Neeck. 

1.      Approve July 13, 2010 meeting minutes:  Motion Robb/Kardas to approve the minutes of the July 13, 2010 meeting as presented.  Motion carried.

2.      Vouchers; Revenue & Expenditures:  Motion Kardas/Robb to approve vouchers as presented totaling $1,414.22.  Motion carried.

3.      Manager’s report: 

a.      Airport expansion project update.  Nothing new to report.

b.      Airport operations.  Department of Aeronautics requested competitive bids for crack sealing project.  Fence damage on North Old 13 Road.  Jordan will get repair estimate and follow-up filing an insurance claim.  Lightning strike damage.  Repairs are being done.  Claim has been filed.

4.      Set date and time for next meeting:  September 14, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. at the Airport Terminal.

5.      Adjourn:  Motion Robb/Janssen to adjourn meeting at 8:35 a.m. Motion carried.
