Job description:
50% detailed reporting via computer for the assessors, towns, villages, cities, real estate companies and the public. Price County has over 30,000 different parcels. The Property Lister maintains all of the data concerning each property such as owner's name and address, value, taxes, type of property, and legal description.
50% maintaining a parcel mapping system. This is also done with the aid of a computer. A base map was created containing quarter-quarters, roads, water ways, etc. The base map is then split into individual parcels per the descriptions provided on the deeds recorded at the Register of Deeds office.
