The meeting was called to order at the intersection of Popple Hill Road and the driveway to land owned by Shirley Leahy in the Town of Flambeau (located approximately ¼ mile north of N11339 Popple Hill Road) at 8:00 a.m. by Chairman Jim Robb.  Members present were Richard Schneider, Richard Kelnhofer, and John Vlach.  Bob Rogalla was excused. Staff present included Zoning Administrator, Kevin Krause. 

Chairman Robb recessed the meeting at 8:12 a.m.  The meeting reconvened at 9:00 a.m. in the Price County Normal Building – UWEX Conference Rooms A & B.

Motion by Kelnhofer / Vlach to approve the minutes of the October 22, 2009  meeting.  Motion carried.

Motion by Schneider / Kelnhofer to approve the expenditures for October 2009.  Motion carried.

The 2009 year-to-day finance report was presented to the Zoning Committee for review. 

Public Hearings:

Public hearing on the proposed amendment to the following county ordinance;  Price County Non-Metallic Mining Reclamation Ordinance #1-01, Section 27.3, regarding Price County’s share of the fee being determined by the Price County Board of Supervisors.  Motion by Kelnhofer / Schneider to forward the proposal as amended to the County Board for consideration.  Motion carried.

LAND DIVISIONS

There were no land division requests.

MISCELANEOUS ITEMS

1.         Correspondence/Public Comment.  Russell Severt complained about the Richter/Durand CUP, but did not make an official complaint.

2.         Conditional Use permit filed by Shirley Leahy for the purpose of operating a primitive/rustic RV and tent campground (postponed at 10/22 meeting).  Motion by Vlach / Kelnhofer to deny.  Ayes – 3.  Nays -1.  Motion carried.

3.         Update on enforcement proceedings.  Kevin discussed how the Joe France case has been closed and the issues with the Durand / Richter CUP.

4.         Wang refund.  Motion by Schneider / Kelnhofer to approve the refund.  Motion carried.

5.         Department activity report.  Kevin discussed how an activity report will be done for January since it didn’t pay to do one now since the November meeting was so close to the October meeting.

6.         Established date and time of next meeting.  January 7, 2010 at 9:00 a.m.

7.         Adjourn.  Motion by Kelnhofer / Vlach to adjourn at 10:21 a.m.  Motion carried.
