SHORELINE BUILDING SETBACKS

Principle Structure - all permanent structures shall be setback 75 ft. from the ordinary highwater mark of navigable waters and 10 ft. from side lot lines.

Accessory Buildings - sheds, garages, etc. shall be setback 75 ft. from the ordinary highwater mark and 5 ft. from side lot lines.

Waterfront Storage Structure - shall be setback 35 ft. from the ordinary highwater mark. Storage structures shall not exceed one story and 300 square feet in floor area. Storage structures shall not be constructed where the existing slope is more than 20%.

Permanent structures shall include, but not be limited to any buildings, decks, porches, satellite dishes, or any other structure designed to remain in one spot for the life of the structure.

 

SHORELINE CUTTING REGULATIONS

Cutting of trees and natural shrubbery within a strip paralleling the shoreline and extending inland 35 ft. from the ordinary highwater mark of a lake or stream shall be limited as follows:

~ An area of no more than 30 ft. wide shall be selectively cut per lot.
