AIDS (HIV) COUNSELING & TESTING/PARTNER REFERRAL
The Price County Health Department has been participating in the Wisconsin Division of Health program for anonymous and name-associated confidential HIV antibody testing since 1986 and 1990, respectively. This network of counseling and testing sites provides individuals concerned about HIV risk with ready access to affordable counseling and testing services. This program provides:

Readily accessible counseling, testing, and referral services for Individuals at risk for HIV.
Testing at low or no cost to individuals who would not otherwise be able to afford testing.
Sensitive and anonymous or confidential pre and post test counseling.
Extensive information/education focused on measures to prevent acquisition of HIV.
Appropriate referrals for further medical or psychological evaluation and social support.
Referral of sexual and needle sharing partners of person with HIV for prevention and education.
