WISCONSIN WELL WOMEN'S PROGRAM (WWWP)
This is a federal funded program that provides mammograms, pap smears, and clinical breast exams free of charge to women
45-64 years of age who meet a specific income guideline.
The State of Wisconsin set up this
program with the plan that local county health departments would enroll women
and allow them to see their own doctors or nurse practitioners. In Price County
the providers of the program are Flambeau Hospital, Marshfield Clinic, and the
Prentice (Aspirus) Clinic.
