Hackett

The town of Hackett is primarily a rural residential area. Industry is mainly farming and logging. Recreational opportunities are many. Fishing is good year round with a town boat landing at Worcester Lake and a DNR boat landing at cranberry Lake. Hunting is available on county forest land throughout the township. Snowmobile trails are well groomed and are part of the network that connects surrounding communities. The town of Hackett is located in both the Phillips and Prentice school districts. It is a beautiful quiet area that makes a great home for both young and old alike.

Location of Hackett Town Hall:
From Hwy. 8 in Prentice, take Co. A north 1 mile to Co. K, then 3 miles north on Co. K. The town hall is located on the right at the intersection of Co. K and Emery-Hackett Rd.
