The Zoning
committee shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the Price
County Board Chairperson.
1. This
committee shall establish and monitor an annual budget and approve
expenditures of the department.
2. This
committee shall make sure that the Zoning Administrator provides
adequate enforcement of the applicable ordinances given to him/her
for enforcement.
3. This
committee shall approve land division requests and subdivision plats
as required by the Subdivision Control Ordinances.
4. This
committee shall act upon and hold public hearings on necessary
requests for conditional use
permits.
5. This
committee shall hold public hearings upon and make recommendations
to the County Board on requests to rezone or amend the various
ordinances under their jurisdiction.
6. This
committee shall approve appraisals on parcels to be sold by the
county and to establish minimum
bids
for these parcels as directed by the Price County Land Sales
Ordinance.
7. To
supervise the budget of the 9-1-1 Addressing and Services, approve
vouchers and monthly reports.
8. As per
Wisconsin §59.69(2)(a) 1., this committee is authorized to act,
subject to Board approval, in
all
matters pertaining to county planning and zoning.
The Zoning
Department is responsible for keeping minutes of meetings and public
hearings. |
