Price County is a member of the Northern Income Maintenance Consortium
Anyone living in Price County may contact the Northern IM Call Center to apply for benefits, report changes to cases, check benefits, process eligibility, complete reviews, or ask questions for the following programs
- Medicaid
- BadgerCare Plus
- Medicaid Purchase Plan (MAPP)
- Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB)
- Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB & SLMB+)
- Family Planning Only Services
- Long Term Care
- Family Care

- Child care
- Wisconsin's Caretaker Supplement (CTS)
Northwest Regional Housing Program
Financial assistance, to qualifying applicants for:
- Down Payment
- Home Repairs
- Rental Unit Repairs
Administered through the Northwest Regional Planning Commission
BadgerCare & Food Share Changes
As a result of the State of Wisconsin 2011-2013 Biennial Budget, accessing Income Maintenance programs (BadgerCare and Food Share) have changed. Effective January 1, 2012, Price County Department of Health and Human Services Economic Support staff will be working with a group of counties called the Northern Income Maintenance Consortium. This means that eligibility and benefit determination will be managed by a team of income maintenance workers.
All calls, questions and changes will now be processed through the call / change center via phone at 888-794-5722 or through The Northern Income Maintenance Consortium online.
