The purpose of these food services is to serve seniors good food that is wholesome, nutritious and provide opportunities for seniors to socialize. Program eligibility is as follows:

Home delivered meals are available in the Catawba, Prentice and Fifield communities as well.
- Nutrition Sites: Persons 60 years of age or older, or married to someone 60 years or older
- Suggested donation: $4.25
- Home Delivered Meals: Must be home bound or physically disabled
- Suggested donation: $4.75

Choose My Plate provides practical information to individuals, health professionals, nutrition educators, and the food industry to help consumers build healthier diets with resources and tools for dietary assessment, nutrition education, and other user-friendly nutrition information.

Nutrition 411 is specific to older adults and geriatric issues. This information on this site is provided by Registered Dietitians. The “Educational Materials” tab as well as the “Information Centers” on the site cover most health concerns and provide appropriate nutrition information.
Eat Right is specific for seniors from The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
