Prenatal Care Coordination (PNCC) is a BadgerCare
benefit that helps pregnant women get the support and services they need, with
the goal of having a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. A Public Health Nurse
will work one-on-one with a pregnant woman throughout their pregnancy and up to
60 days after delivery. PNCC services can
include:
- Helping apply for BadgerCare
- Helping enroll in WIC
- Helping establish medical prenatal care
- Providing personal support
- Providing education on pregnancy, postpartum and
newborn care
- Providing information on community services
