Prenatal Care Coordination (PNCC)

Prenatal Care Coordination (PNCC) is a BadgerCare benefit that helps pregnant women get the support and services they need, with the goal of having a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.  A Public Health Nurse will work one-on-one with a pregnant woman throughout their pregnancy and up to 60 days after delivery.  PNCC services can include:

  • Helping apply for BadgerCare
  • Helping enroll in WIC
  • Helping establish medical prenatal care
  • Providing personal support
  • Providing education on pregnancy, postpartum and newborn care
  • Providing information on community services
