[ARCHIVED] Price County Highway Department Request for Proposals

PROPOSAL REQUEST

ALUMINIZED METAL PIPE, CORRUGATED METAL PIPE, HDPE PLASTIC PIPE

 

Proposals will be accepted until Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

 

The Price County Highway Department will accept proposals via email for furnishing culvert pipe and erosion control material.

 

Culvert pipe must meet the requirements of Section 521 and 530 of the Wisconsin Department of

Transportation's Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, 2022 Edition. Helical pipe

shall have the ends re‐twisted (annular) so a standard band can be used on them. HDPE or plastic pipe shall be corrugated smooth bore. The request for proposals includes standard aluminized metal pipe, corrugated metal pipe and HDPE plastic pipe.

 

Price County reserves the right to accept any proposal independent of the other or all proposals together.

Proposals shall be sent to the Price County Highway Department via email to vance.pollitt@pricecounty.wi.gov or PO Box 169, Phillips, WI 54555, Attn: 2025 Culvert Pipe Proposal before 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2025. Any questions regarding the proposal should be made to Patrol Superintendent, Vance Pollitt, by telephone at (715) 339‐3081 Ext. 3 or email at vance.pollitt@pricecounty.wi.gov.

 

Delivery shall be FOB to the Department's shop in Phillips, WI unless otherwise indicated. Delivery charges, if any, shall be included in the price shown on the proposal form.

 

All proposals must be submitted on the form provided. All writing shall be done in ink. Included in the culvert proposal shall be: the price per lineal foot of pipe, the gauge of the metal, the manufacturer, and the probable delivery date. Timeliness is an essential consideration in determining the successful proposal.

 

The Price County Highway Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of Price County. Quantities shown constitute a base proposal. Price County reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities up to 15% after receipt of

proposals.

 

Delivery of all pipe shall be made before May 15, 2025.
