- Inmates sentenced to the County Jail are entitled to a reduction of sentence of one-fourth for good behavior if sentenced to at least four days. This does not apply to persons serving as a condition of probation, unless good time is specifically ordered by the sentencing judge or if the sentence is a mandatory minimum (i.e. OWI repeat offenders who are sentenced with probation). Length of jail term can be amended by the court on the recommendation of the probation officer.
- Inmates are not entitled to good time if serving a sentence on a Commitment Order or Child Support sentence.
- Violations of law or any regulation of the Jail may deprive the inmate of two days good time for each violation.
